This policy explains the cookies yakupbilgin.com places in your browser and the browser storage it uses. In short: the site has no advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies. The cookies it uses are strictly necessary or functional — for the site to work, to keep it secure and to remember your language — so no cookie consent banner is shown.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) is similar data kept in your browser that is not sent to the server.
Cookies we use
- __cf_bm and, when needed, cf_clearance — security cookies used by Cloudflare’s bot and attack protection. They do not identify you; __cf_bm lasts 30 minutes and cf_clearance is valid for a short time after a security check. Strictly necessary.
- wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-* — WordPress session and settings cookies used only when the site owner logs in to the admin area. They are never set for visitors. Strictly necessary.
Browser storage
The text you type into the contact and PCB request forms (not files) is kept temporarily in that tab’s sessionStorage so that it is not lost if sending fails; it is not sent to the server separately and is deleted when you close the tab.
Your language preference (Turkish / English) is kept in localStorage under the name “yb_lang”; it is not sent to the server and stays until you clear it. First-party, functional.
Visitor statistics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for statistics such as total visits. This service does not use cookies, does not create a persistent identifier in your browser and does not track you across other websites. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Legal basis
Strictly necessary and functional cookies are used without your consent because they are needed to provide the service you request, based on Article 5(2)(f) of the KVKK (legitimate interests) and Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The site has no advertising, marketing or profiling cookies that would require consent; if such a cookie is ever added, your consent will be asked first.
How can you manage cookies?
You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block cookies, the site keeps working; only Cloudflare’s security check may appear more often. If you clear site data, your language preference is cleared too and the site opens in your browser’s language.
