Bubble Level – Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Bubble Level app (“the app”) handles. The app is a set of measuring tools (spirit level, protractor, camera angle meter and compass): it reads your device’s motion sensors to show tilt angles and headings.

Information the app itself handles

  • Motion sensor data (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, rotation vector) is processed only on your device, only while the app is open, to draw the instruments. It is never stored or sent anywhere.
  • Camera: the camera mode shows the live camera picture on your screen so that an angle can be drawn over it. The picture is processed only on your device; it is not recorded and never sent anywhere. A photo is saved, to your own gallery, only when you press the shutter button.
  • Photos you choose: to measure an angle on an existing photo you pick it with the system photo picker. The app sees only the photo you pick, opens it only on your device, and has no access to the rest of your gallery.
  • Settings and saved measurements (calibration offsets, your preferences and the readings you choose to save) are kept only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.
  • The app has no account, no sign-in, and no server of its own. We do not collect your name, e-mail, location, contacts, photos or any other personal data.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and shows a banner ad provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

  • the device’s advertising ID (you can reset or delete it in your device settings),
  • IP address, device and operating-system information, app interactions with ads, and approximate location derived from the IP address,
  • diagnostics and performance data.

This data is collected by Google, not by us, and is handled under Google’s own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Data is encrypted in transit.

Your choices and consent

  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google’s consent form before any personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy options link in the app.
  • On any device you can opt out of personalised ads or delete the advertising ID in the system settings (Settings › Privacy › Ads, or Google › Ads, depending on the device).
  • Without an internet connection the app works fully and no ad is requested.

Permissions

The app requests Internet and network state access (for ads), the advertising ID permission added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, vibration, and camera access. The camera permission is optional and is asked for only when you first open the camera mode; every other tool works without it. On Android 9 and older the app also asks for storage access the first time you save a photo. It does not request location, microphone or contacts access.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

We keep no data about you. On-device settings are removed when you uninstall the app. For data collected by Google for advertising, see Google’s policy above; you can also delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.

  • Kamera: kamera modu, üzerine açı çizilebilmesi için canlı kamera görüntüsünü ekranınızda gösterir. Görüntü yalnızca cihazınızda işlenir; kaydedilmez ve hiçbir yere gönderilmez. Fotoğraf, yalnızca deklanşöre bastığınızda ve kendi galerinize kaydedilir.
  • Seçtiğiniz fotoğraflar: var olan bir fotoğraf üzerinde açı ölçmek için fotoğrafı sistemin fotoğraf seçicisiyle seçersiniz. Uygulama yalnızca seçtiğiniz fotoğrafı görür, onu yalnızca cihazınızda açar ve galerinizin geri kalanına erişemez.
  • Ayarlar ve kayıtlı ölçümler (kalibrasyon değerleri, tercihleriniz ve kaydetmeyi seçtiğiniz ölçümler) yalnızca cihazınızda saklanır. Uygulamayı kaldırmak veya verilerini temizlemek bunları siler.
  • Uygulamada hesap, oturum açma veya kendimize ait bir sunucu yoktur. Adınızı, e-postanızı, konumunuzu, kişilerinizi, fotoğraflarınızı veya başka bir kişisel verinizi toplamayız.

Reklamlar (Google AdMob)

Uygulama ücretsizdir ve Google AdMob tarafından sağlanan bir banner reklam gösterir. Reklam sunmak, ölçmek ve dolandırıcılığı önlemek için Google Mobile Ads SDK şunları toplayabilir ve işleyebilir:

  • cihazın reklam kimliği (cihaz ayarlarınızdan sıfırlayabilir veya silebilirsiniz),
  • IP adresi, cihaz ve işletim sistemi bilgileri, reklamlarla etkileşimler ve IP adresinden çıkarılan yaklaşık konum,
  • tanılama ve performans verileri.

Bu veriler bizim tarafımızdan değil Google tarafından toplanır ve Google’ın kendi politikalarına tabidir: Google Gizlilik Politikası ve Google’ın, hizmetlerini kullanan site ve uygulamalardan gelen bilgileri nasıl kullandığı. Veriler aktarım sırasında şifrelenir.

Seçimleriniz ve onay

  • Avrupa Ekonomik Alanı, Birleşik Krallık ve İsviçre’de uygulama, kişiselleştirilmiş reklam göstermeden önce Google’ın onay formuyla izninizi ister. Tercihinizi uygulamadaki Gizlilik seçenekleri bağlantısından istediğiniz zaman değiştirebilirsiniz.
  • Her cihazda, sistem ayarlarından (cihaza göre Ayarlar › Gizlilik › Reklamlar veya Google › Reklamlar) kişiselleştirilmiş reklamları kapatabilir ya da reklam kimliğini silebilirsiniz.
  • İnternet bağlantısı yokken uygulama tamamen çalışır ve reklam istenmez.

İzinler

Uygulama, reklamlar için İnternet ve ağ durumu erişimi, Google Mobile Ads SDK’nın eklediği reklam kimliği izni, titreşim ve kamera izni ister. Kamera izni isteğe bağlıdır ve yalnızca kamera modunu ilk açtığınızda sorulur; diğer tüm araçlar bu izin olmadan çalışır. Android 9 ve öncesinde, ilk kez fotoğraf kaydederken depolama izni de istenir. Konum, mikrofon veya kişiler izni istemez.

Çocuklar

Uygulama 13 yaşından küçük çocuklara yönelik değildir ve çocuklardan bilerek kişisel bilgi toplamayız.

Verilerin saklanması ve silinmesi

Sizinle ilgili hiçbir veri saklamayız. Cihazdaki ayarlar uygulama kaldırılınca silinir. Google’ın reklam için topladığı veriler için yukarıdaki Google politikasına bakın; reklam kimliğinizi cihaz ayarlarından da silebilirsiniz.
